Founded in 2002, Islington Link Up is a not for profit community interest company. Our aim is to ensure community cohesion and the active continued vitality of our community in civic life. We champion working together to help each other and to better the opportunities for people within our community.
Here at Islington Link Up we organize and facilitate educational, social and cultural activities, which will benefit the community in Islington. Our main focus is centralized on working with African-Caribbean young people and assisting them into employment, further education and helping them to realize their full potential.
We work positively, honestly and openly within our community. We hope to engage citizens and work jointly to tackle the important issues and challenges that we face in our community at present.
We are committed to creating and extending opportunities to people in our community. We are currently doing this by providing job opportunity, building the capacity of the organization and working with the young by getting them into jobs, training schemes and apprenticeships.
